Japan and China in particular lead the way in terms of B2C e-commerce spending, with mature platforms like Rakuten and Tmall as leaders in the space. China is projected to be the country with the most growth potential in the next two years, and Japan will remain a firm second place with the highest e-commerce penetration in all of Asia (97%).
