Born and raised in Tokyo, Tamayo Suzumura has been passionate about international communication and design from an early age. This interest led to a career in global consulting, where she specialized in helping companies expand into international markets. Her love for design and creativity eventually brought her to btrax, where she now plays a key role in bridging business strategy and design innovation. As General Manager of btrax Tokyo, Tamayo is responsible for leading the Japan team, working closely with executives in San Francisco to strengthen the company’s ability to support clients across markets. She takes pride in establishing the foundational structure of btrax’s Tokyo office, ensuring smooth operations and a strong team culture. With expertise in corporate management, talent development, and consulting, she brings a strategic perspective to every project. Tamayo is most passionate about working in the design industry, where she finds inspiration in art, museums, pottery, and the beauty of nature. A dedicated classical music enthusiast, she enjoys playing chamber music with friends in her free time. She also loves to walk extensively, taking in the world around her. Motivated by collaborating with great colleagues and nurturing talent, Tamayo aspires to grow the next generation of btrax leaders.
